Die Circular Plastics Alliance will den EU-Markt für recycelte Kunststoffe bis 2025 auf 10 Millionen Tonnen pro Jahr anheben. Die Allianz deckt die gesamte Kunststoff-Wertschöpfungskette ab und umfasst über 330 Organisationen aus Industrie, Wissenschaft und Behörden.

Innerhalb der Arbeitsgruppen "Automotive", "Electro and Electronics", "Agriculture", "Construction" und "Packaging" arbeiten die Mitglieder der Circular Plastic Alliance an neuen Konzeptenzur Verbesserung der Kreislaufwirtschaft von Kunststoffen in Bereichen wie "Design for Recycling", "Collection and Sorting" oder "Recycling Content".
